It would appear that the vast majority of Origin users also didn't realize this -- and as such, EA has decided to drop physical sales from the platform. According to a new blog post from Origin's Craig Harris, 1 percent of Origin users buy physical copies of games via Origin. Clearly this isn't high enough demand, as EA is now taking Origin all-digital. "Digital is fast and convenient," he writes. "Origin’s focus is to give gamers the best experience, and going all-digital will make that possible."
