Julian Gollop, the original designer behind the popular X-COM series, is getting ready to crowdfund a new strategy game based on another of his past popular creations. Gollop has been in the games industry since the 1980s, first creating games independently, before founding companies like Mythos Games and Codo Technologies. Most recently Gollop was at Ubisoft, working on games like Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. Now the developer has revealed Chaos Reborn, an update on Gollop's 1985 ZX Spectrum game Chaos: The Battle of Wizards. The dev says that, of all his games over the years, "the original Chaos stands out as a game with unrealised potential." Gollop has been working on Chaos Reborn since he left Ubisoft last year, and now plans to raise the funds necessary to complete the game via Kickstarter next month. The crowdfunding campaign will launch on March 14. You can read more about Chaos Reborn on Prefundia.
