In case you missed it last week, there's a new platform on the list of Steam's supported VR headsets: OSVR, the "Open-Source Virtual Reality" platform Razer debuted back in 2015.
As Valve's Chet Faliszek notes in a news post on Steam's VR section today, this is notably the first VR headset to be added to Steam's list of supported platforms since the HTC Vive launched in April (bringing the total list to three, since Steam also officially supports the Oculus Rift) and it "won't be the last new headset supported."
Faliszek goes on to estimate that roughly 200 games are now listed on Steam as supporting OSVR in some fashion, and more are expected to join that list in the weeks to come.
The same post urges devs who have an interest in developing for OSVR to reach out to the company for a dev kit (you can find the contact info in the post); devs curious enough to do so should know that Razer also established a $6 million OSVR dev fund earlier this year.
