Newsbrief: Shanghai-based outsourcing specialist Virtuos has opened a fourth production studio, with the plan to hire 300 staff over the course of the next three years. The Xian, China-based center has been set up to ensure that Virtuos can fully serve its games industry clients with more outsourced content on more platforms, said the company. With this new studio, Virtuos is looking to boost its staff numbers to around 1000 overall. At the end of 2011, Virtuos acquired the core team from visual effects and animation studio Sparx, allowing the new subsidiary to reopen its Vietnam studios.
