SCE Worldwide Studios and Evolution Studios has announced that it will be delaying its upcoming DriveClub racing game to early 2014, a few months after the PlayStation 4's November launch. A PS4 exclusive, DriveClub was part of a quickly dwindling roster of triple-A launch titles for the next-generation hardware. Ubisoft announced this week that its cross-platform Watch Dogs, which was set for a bundled release with some PS4s in addition to a standalone launch, would be pushed back to early 2014 as well. In a company blog post, SCE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida explained that DriveClub was being delayed to next year because "the team requires more time in order to deliver on their vision." Yoshida stressed to players that the PS4's triple-A launch lineup remained robust, listing off titles including Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Call of Duty: Ghosts.
