A number of BioWare expats have joined together to launch QC Games, an Austin-based game studio that has signed a deal with Nexon America to publish its inaugural (and unannounced) online action game.

QC's launch is notable because it appears to be rising from the ashes of Shadow Realms, BioWare Austin's 4-on-1 multiplayer action-RPG that was cancelled early this year. Most of QC Games' staff are ex-BioWare, and the studio is led by former Shadow Realms production director Dallas Dickinson.

QC joins a growing list of Nexon America partners, including Cliff Bleszinski and Arjan Brussee's studio Boss Key Productions, as the Korean company continues to build its presence in the West.
