Newsbrief: Betable, a social games platform that allows developers to implement real-money gambling features into their games, has grabbed Zynga's ex-VP of business development as its own. Jonathan Flesher previously left Zynga last November, where he had secured a number of celebrity deals for the company, including in-game integrations of Lady Gaga and Snoop Dogg content. He's also worked as director of business development for Electronic Arts. Flesher told TechCrunch that incorporating online gambling into free-to-play social games results in "a higher lifetime value from your players," meaning that those companies that delve into the space will have a huge advantage over those that aren't.
