Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list. This week brings Xenoblade Chronicles and Kinect Star Wars to retailers stateside, while Colors! 3D and The Pinball Arcade headline the week's digital lineup. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending April 7th, 2012. Games Released in the United States: Following an outpouring of fan support and multiple petitions (bolstered by the prominent Operation Rainfall campaign), a localized version of Monolith Soft's acclaimed Nintendo Wii RPG Xenoblade Chronicles hits North American shores this week. The game is available exclusively via preorder at GameStop and Nintendo's online store. Other major console releases shipping to stores this week include Capcom's multiplatform Devil May Cry series compilation Devil May Cry HD Collection and the motion-controlled Kinect Star Wars for the Xbox 360. Collecting Smiles' homebrew-turned-3DSWare app Colors! 3D headlines this week's digital lineup, while PC platforms host Demiurge Studios' Shoot Many Robots and the sci-fi first-person shooter sequel Blacklight: Retribution.
