Buzz! franchise developers Relentless Software are using Hansoft's project management and QA tool internally, the companies announced today. Hansoft is a solution for team management that includes features for scheduling, real-time reporting, bug-tracking and other components of software development. Its latest release, version 6.5, added features aimed at simplifying global collaboration, and localization in mainland Chinese and Japanese. Relentless operations manager Stuart Dodman said the company chose Hansoft because it "promotes self-organizing teams" and plays a key role in its efforts to develop a pipeline "to make boxed, episodic, downloadable and iterative products." The most recent version of Hansoft launched in December 2010, aiming to offer better support for outsourcing and distributed collaboration and other additions. Shanghai-headquartered outsourcing firm Virtuos recently implemented Hansoft, and Metal Gear Solid developer Kojima Productions also implemented it team-wide.
