Newsbrief: Two former Remedy and Rovio executives are looking to be the next big thing to come out of the Finnish video game industry, picking up $2.35 million in seed funding for their start-up studio. Seriously is Petri Jarvilehto, previously a lead designer and creative director at Remedy Entertainment, and executive vice president of games at Rovio, and Andrew Stalbow, formerly executive vice president for Rovio's strategic partnerships program. Talking to TechCrunch, Stalbow noted that Seriously will work out of both Helsinki and Los Angeles, and plans to build "casual plus" games.
