Newsbrief: Social gaming company RockYou has acquired Philadelphia-based Ryzing, as a means of expanding its total number of flagship titles and increasing its daily active user count. Bingo by Ryzing, the studio's main title which launched in 2011 and now sees over 75,000 DAUs, is being added to RockYou's roster of games, along with its real-money, proprietary gaming platform. RockYou says that, after it partnered up with Ryzing earlier this year, it realized the full potential of the company and decided as a result to acquire Ryzing. RockYou also announced that it plans to move its main headquarters from Redwood City, California to the Potrero Hill district of San Francisco on June 18.
