The Moscow-headquartered mobile studio Game Insight has launched a new publishing initiative offering localization, distribution, and analytics support for independent developers.
The Moscow-headquartered Game Insight has seen some notable growth over the past several months by producing and publishing mobile games like Mystery Manor and My Country, and now the company hopes to further expand its business by reaching out to the independent development community. On Tuesday the company announced that it has launched a brand new publishing initiative, in which it will offer $3 million to indie devs looking to publish their games via Game Insight. According to the studio, games released through Game Insight will receive publishing, QA, and localization support. "We also have deep knowledge of mobile analytics, particularly in terms of the best practices for in-game monetization, and we'll provide extensive feedback and guidance to help make developers' games a huge success," Game Insight director of publishing Artem Bocharov told Gamasutra. Game Insight further hopes to attract indies by ensuring they receive full ownership and control over their intellectual property. Like most publishing deals of this nature, Game Insight will use a revenue share model, though the company declined to state how much of a cut it plans to take from each game. Game Insight's current portfolio already includes games from developers such as 17 Bullets (Mystery Manor), innoWate (My Country), and Divo Games Mobile (The Tribez).
