Entertainment production company Skydance Media has shelled out an undisclosed sum to acquire The Workshop Entertainment and incorporate it into the newly-formed Skydance Interactive.
The Workshop forms the core of Skydance Interactive, which is notable in light of the fact that the studio has a lengthy history (after being founded nearly a decade ago by the Treyarch founders) of collaborating on development of games like The Evil Within, Armored Warfare and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
