Sony Computer Entertainment America canceled its plans to release a PSP 4GB Memory Entertainment Pack, citing reports from retail partners showing significant consumer interest in the Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters PSP Entertainment Pack. Announced in August, the PSP 4GB Memory Entertainment Pack was to feature a Piano Black PSP-3000 system, a 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, and a PlayStation Network voucher for Queasy Games's Everday Shooter for $199.99. At the time, SCEA also revealed a $169.99 PSP Core Pack, which includes a PSP-3000 handheld and nothing else, for November. Thus, SCEA will offer only one limited-edition bundle leading up to the holiday season -- the $199 Ratchet & Clank PSP Entertainment Pack, which comes with a Mystic Silver PSP-3000 system, a Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters game, a National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets UMD, a 1 gigabyte memory stick, and an Echochrome voucher to download the title from PSN. The company will offer a 4GB PSP Memory Stick PRO for $44.99 later this fall for consumers interested in a larger capacity memory option. Additionally, a new Ratchet & Clank PSP Entertainment Pack bundled with a Piano Black PSP-3000 system will be available starting December.
