Newsbrief: Sony today announced that it has stopped supporting PlayStation Mobile for Android devices, instead focusing the service solely on PS Vita and Vita TV. PlayStation Mobile launched back in 2012, as a method for developers to publish games on the PS Vita without having to go through the usual certification. It also allowed for publishing games to PlayStation-certified Android devices. However, in a statement today, and as translated by The Verge, Sony Japan said that it has ceased support for PS Mobile on Android, and is instead encouraging PS Mobile devs to focus on the Vita.
