Newsbrief: Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition, the Pokemon spinoff Nintendo DS game from Tecmo Koei that launched last month in Japan, is set for a release in North America later this year. Pokemon Conquest, as it will be known in the U.S., features the creatures from the Pokemon series in the Warring States/Sengoku setting and interacting with the characters of Koei's Nobunaga's Ambition, which originally appeared on the MSX, NES, and other systems in the 1980s. The game will be released in North America on June 18. The last Pokemon games to be released in the U.S., Pokemon Black and White, have sold more than 4 million copies combined in the country.
