Newsbrief: Although we'll have to wait until mid-May to find out who has successfully bid on each of THQ's remaining IPs at auction, recent court documents show that a total of 17 bids were recorded for the properties. Final bids for the rest of the now-defunct publisher's properties were due by April 15, including bids of the Darksiders, Red Faction, Homeworld, and MX game series. According to a U.S. bankruptcy court filing for the district of Delaware [PDF], the various remaining sales should bring in between $6 million and $7 million when they go ahead next month, based on these bids. Although the documents did not state which companies have made bids, or which IPs have been bid on, we know that the Homeworld IP was bid on at least, and that the highest bidder was not teamPixel.
