Every week, Gamasutra rounds up the top-grossing Android gaming applications, as current that day at Google Play. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Zynga Poker and Airport City leading today's rankings, as Samurai vs. Zombies Defense and Temple Run also report top earnings. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on Google Play that day. It differs significantly from the Top Paid Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Google's public sales information. All titles in Google Play's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing Android titles are: 1. Zynga Poker (Free) 2. Draw Something ($0.99) 3. Live Holdem Poker Pro (Free) 4. Airport City (Free) 5. Temple Run (Free) 6. Defender II (Free) 7. Samurai vs. Zombies Defense (Free) 8. Tap Fish (Free) 9. Rage of Bahamut (Free) 10. Slotomania (Free) Game Insight's air traffic management title Airport City reports a rapid rise in popularity following the release of an Easter-themed update. Zynga Poker remains Google Play's highest-earning title overall, with Draw Something and Live Holdem Poker Pro trailing close behind. Temple Run moves up to fifth place after debuting at eighth last week, meanwhile, as DroidHen's Defender II overtakes Glu's Samurai vs. Zombies Defense to claim sixth place.
