Apple's latest U.S. App Store game charts by revenue see Kingdoms of Camelot and Poker by Zynga earning top iPhone sales, while DragonVale and Magic 2013 remain big sellers on the iPad.
Every week, Gamasutra rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Kingdoms of Camelot and Poker by Zynga earning top iPhone sales, while DragonVale and Magic 2013 remain big sellers on the iPad. These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies. Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings. This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are: 1. Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North (Kabam, Free) 2. DragonVale (Backflip Studios, Free) 3. Poker by Zynga (Zynga, Free) 4. Rage of Bahamut (Mobage, Free) 5. Slotomania (Playtika, Free) 6. Temple Run: Brave (Disney, $0.99) 7. Minecraft: Pocket Edition (Mojang, $6.99) 8. Bejeweled Blitz (PopCap, Free) 9. Zynga Slots (Zynga, Free) 10. Tap Paradise Cove (Pocket Gems, Free) Poker by Zynga recovers after dropping to sixth place in last week's results, earning third in today's iPhone charts. Kingdoms of Camelot and DragonVale continue to lead as the platform's top revenue earners, as Rage of Bahamut reports a slight drop in popularity at fourth place. Slotomania and Temple Run: Brave maintain consistent sales at fifth and sixth place, while the newly launched Zynga Slots trails longtime App Store favorite Bejeweled Blitz at ninth place. Tap Paradise Cove (Pocket Gems, Free) Kabam's Kingdoms of Camelot and Backflip Studios' DragonVale head up the iPad charts for the second week in a row, while Slotomania HD and Wizards of the Coast's collectible card game Magic 2013 follow at third and fourth place. EA's The Sims: FreePlay returns to the top ten at ninth, meanwhile, pushing Pocket Gems' island colony sim Tap Paradise Cove to tenth place.
