Unity adds free GameAnalytics tools for users

Unity Technologies is bringing GameAnalytics' free services to the Unity Asset Store Online Services Program, providing analytics tools designed "to follow up where the Unity engine ends."

Newsbrief: Unity Technologies has teamed up with GameAnalytics to bring the latter's free analytics service to the Unity Asset Store partner program. "GameAnalytics has been committed to bringing analytics to the Unity community from the day they started the company," stated Unity CEO David Helgason. "With GameAnalytics working with us in the Unity Asset Store Online Services Program, that will be easier than ever for development studios of all sizes." An 18-person company based in Copenhagen, GameAnalytics has serviced over 4,000 titles and tracked 125 million players since launching its present analytics tools this past January. Company CEO Morten E. Wulff says GameAnalytics is "on a mission to follow up where the Unity engine ends." "Performance metrics are essential to success in today's free-to-play marketplace," Wulff concluded.
