Newsbrief: The makers of popular development platform Unity have released an update for the game engine that focuses on improved Facebook functionality, and a better Unity user experience on the social network. The updated Unity Web Player is a direct collaboration with Facebook, and brings what the company describes as major improvements, with the aim to boost the number of users installing the client through ease-of-use. Facebook will also soon release a free package to the Unity Asset Store, which will wrap the Facebook API in a more easy-to-implement C# SDK. All the details regarding the update can be found on the Unity blog.
