Newsbrief: After eight years at Valve and six months at Microsoft, itinerant game industry executive Jason Holtman has confirmed that he has joined Oculus VR as the company's new Head of Platform. Holtman is expected to lead Oculus' nascent developer partnership and business development efforts, and the company says he'll be working closely with David DeMartini, the head of the company's worldwide publishing arm. You may remember that Holtman spent eight years at Valve overseeing Steam content licensing and serving as a key point of contact for developers before leaving the company early last year. Shortly thereafter he joined up with Microsoft with the express goal of making Windows a better place to play games, then left the company in February.
