Viximo, a platform distributing games and apps to social networks beyond Facebook, has added Google's Orkut community to its partner network, and will soon launch three titles on the site including LOLapps' Ravenwood Fair. Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Viximo offers a platform that helps developers get their games and apps to multiple social networks like BlackPlanet, Quepasa, IMVU, and Bebo. With this Orkut deal, the platform can potentially reach a total of 150 million users across all of VIximo's partner sites. Viximo will release three social games -- LOLapps' Ravenwood Fair, Casual Collective's Backyard Monsters, and Game Insight's Resort World -- on Orkut, which might not be popular in North America but has a huge audience in South America (Brazil in particular) and a "significant" following in India. "We are delighted to work with Orkut," says Viximo CEO Dale Strang. "We are able to bring our network of games to the site's highly active game players. We are focused on bringing everyone more business success: Orkut gets great games, and the social games are category makers and first movers on a site with engaged players."
