Ahead of their release, the VRDC booth is one of the few public places you can try a playable demo of both Fallout 4 VR and DOOM VFR. Fallout 4 VR includes the complete core game with all-new combat, crafting, and building systems fully reimagined for virtual reality. The fast-paced AND brutal gameplay of DOOM transfers over seamlessly to virtual reality with the HTC VIVE in DOOM VFR. VR offers the opportunity to lay waste to an army of demonic foes from an entirely new perspective.
The husband and wife team behind HordeZ, Niklas Persson and Marie Goldberg, will also be at HTC VIVE’s pavilion to present the 4-player co-op VR experience that places you in the shoes of survivors tasked with eliminating onslaughts of zombies and demons. The experience features physical guns with haptic feedback tracked in VR.
The Pavilion is also showcasing Viveport Arcade, which connects developers with operators for location-based distribution of VR content. The Viveport Arcade Manager (VAM) is a software platform for managing multiple demo bays with one admin machine and is easy to install and maintain. With access to over 600 games (and growing), it’s the largest platform of commercially licensed content.
