Newsbrief: Adam Sessler, who has co-hosted G4's video game-themed TV program X-Play for 14 years, has parted ways with the cable channel. Sessler has hosted the show since it first aired as GameSpot TV on ZDTV in 1998. In recent years, he's appeared on X-Play alongside co-host Morgan Webb. Sessler helped X-Play become one of the highest-rated programs on G4, and also frequently appeared on the channel's Attack of the Show. The former editor in chief of games content for G4 is leaving the channel due to a contractual dispute, and his departure was not on amicable terms, according to a report from Kotaku. He intends to continue helping produce video content elsewhere, and to serve as a voice in the game industry.
