Microsoft's latest box broke the 3 million sold mark after five or six weeks of sale across 13 countries last year.
Newsbrief: More than 3 million Xbox One consoles were sold to customers in 2013, according to a report from Microsoft this morning. The Xbox One sold more than 1 million units on launch day -- November 22nd -- which means roughly 2 million consoles were sold in the remaining five weeks of 2013. Sales of the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 have been neck-and-neck since the two consoles launched a week apart last November. Last we heard from Sony, the PlayStation 4 had sold more than 2 million units worldwide two weeks after it launched.
