Newsbrief: The pattern of executives leaving Zynga is far from new. Now another one of its big names is exiting: Barry Cottle, a former EA exec who joined the company in 2012, has left the company, Zynga confirms. CEO Don Mattrick, who joined the company in 2013 from Microsoft, promised to shake up the company, and that soon extended to its management. Cottle most recently oversaw Zynga's casino franchises -- one of the pillars of the company, according to chief operating officer Clive Downie.
