Beginning today, GameCareerGuide.com (Gamasutra’s sister web site dedicated to educating new and aspiring game developers) is running a new weekly Design Challenge, created by game designer James Portnow. The challenges are an exercise in becoming a game developer, posing a design question or problem that GameCareerGuide.com readers have one week to solve. The best responses will be published on the site. The first ever challenge is: Create a new class or set of classes for a fantasy MMORPG. To read the complete details of the assignment and find out how to submit your response, see the posting on GameCareerGuide.com. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, April 16, 5 p.m. PDT. The responses for this challenge will appear on GameCareerGuide.com on Wednesday, April 23, 2008.
