GameCareerGuide.com, Gamasutra’s sister web site for training game developers, has a weekly Game Design Challenge, a series of creative exercises in becoming a game developer. This week’s challenge asks the industry hopefuls or even those currently participating to design a one-button game. Anyone is welcome to participate, and professional developers are encouraged to provide feedback and guidance to the GameCareerGuide.com community via its forum. Another requirement in this week’s challenge is to keep the submissions clear and concise, reminding aspiring game developers to think about their written communications skills, too. To suggest your own solutions, read the complete assignment on GameCareerGuide.com. Then send your answers to [email protected] with the subject line "Design Challenge: One Button." Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Be sure to include your full name and school affiliation or job title.
