UI Scripter, Wargaming.net

Location: Chicago, IL The user interface is the face of a game; it's the first thing the player sees and can inspire a player before he or she even sees the battlefield. As a User Interface Scripter, you'll be responsible for bringing that to life. Your position is where the respective disciplines of Design and Engineering converge. On the design side, you'll be taking design wireframes and turning them into a living, breathing interface that's a pleasure to use. On the engineering side, you'll be fusing your work with the raw game functionality that makes everything tick. Your work is the glue that brings this game together. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and coordinate with multiple teams across disciplines.

  • Reliably write solid, extensible script as well as some code.

  • Given designs and features, reliably estimate work scope and requirements.
