Serious Game Designer Falstein to Speak at SV IGDA Event

Industry veteran Noah Falstein is scheduled to speak on topics relating to serious game development at an upcoming International Game Developers Association event, to be held at Cogswell Polytechnical College in Sunnyvale, California.

Industry veteran Noah Falstein is scheduled to speak on topics relating to serious game development at Cogswell Polytechnical College in Sunnyvale, California. Falstein will discuss current industry trends and his work on The Cisco Mind Share Game, a learning game that reinforces professional networking skills. Falstein has contributed to the development of more than 40 games in his 29-year career in the industry, including notable titles like Sinistar, The Secret of Monkey Island, and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. He currently serves as president of The Inspiracy, a game design consulting firm. Recently, Falstein has focused on the development of serious games at The Inspiracy, which provides design assistance, review, and documents for educational and training projects. The Inspiracy has assisted the development of serious game applications for companies including Microsoft, Hopelab, and Health Media Lab. Falstein's speech is part of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the International Game Developers Association's Game Project Connection Night. The event will take place at Cogswell on Monday, May 18, 2009 from 7:00 to 10:00 P.M.
