[Every other week, Gamasutra examines the fastest growing Facebook games (according to monthly active users), looking at which titles and developers are having the most success attracting new players on the social network.] LOLapps' Ravenwood Fair, the creepy, woodland festival sim designed by game industry veteran and Id Software co-founder John Romero, stands at the top of the chart this week after gaining over 1.2 million monthly players and bringing its total user base up 24 percent to 6.4 million. Chinese developer Boyaa is at #2 at with its card game, 德州撲克(中文版), or Texas Hold'Em Poker (Chinese Edition) -- no relation to Zynga's own Texas HoldEm Poker game, which also has a Chinese localization. Boyaa's app added 1 million new players (up 15 percent) for a total of 7.8 million. Zynga's Texas HoldEm Poker has a bigger audience with 37 million users, but it's only at #6 on the chart with 412,739 new players (up 1 percent). At #5, IGG Inc's GodsWar Online welcomed 444,947 fresh recruits (up 37 percent), bolstering its ranks to almost 1.7 million. Draw My Thing, a charades game from Omgpop that isn't as dirty as it sounds, took #7 and drew in 386,896 new players (up 326 percent) for a 505,457 total.
