Treyarch and Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops surged back up the charts this week to once again lead new retail sales in the UK, forcing the premiere of Marvel vs Capcom 3 to 2nd place in this week's sales charts. British tracking firm Chart-Track reports a 192% week-over-week increase in Black Ops sales, pushing the title back into first place after a four week absence. This marks the eighth time Black Ops has topped the weekly UK sales charts, approaching the nine weeks at number 1 for predecessor Modern Warfare 2. Despite its second place finish, sales for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 were still strong, with the Xbox 360 and PS3 release selling as many units in one week as the Xbox and PS2's Marvel vs. Capcom 2 sold over its entire lifetime. Mario Sports Mix was the only title to fall out of the top ten this week, sinking from 8th place to 12th.
