After weeks of considerable activity, the UK sales charts appears to have settled into a temporary lull, with very little movement in the top ten in particular. Electronic Arts’ FIFA 07 has remained in the top spot for the second week running, well ahead of the other titles despite a 29 percent drop in sales. Although Lego Star Wars II has risen back to the number two spot, there is little other movement of note beyond the appearance of Project Gotham Racing 3 at number ten, as a result of the game being bundled with new Xbox 360 consoles in the UK. Outside the top ten, the only genuine new entry is Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence at number thirty-four. The fastest mover by far though is 42 All-Time Classics (aka Clubhouse Games) on the Nintendo DS, which has risen from its debut of number thirty-six to number seventeen this week.
