Square Enix and Avalanche Studios' sandbox action game Just Cause 2 topped sales charts in the UK for the week ended March 27, research firm Chart-Track said Monday. It's the second time this year that Square Enix published a game that reached number one in the UK on the weekly all-platforms sales charts, its first number one being Final Fantasy XIII. Just Cause 2 was originally conceived under publisher Eidos, and Square Enix acquired Eidos last year. Just Cause 2 replaced last week's number one game, Sony's PlayStation 3-exclusive God of War III in the top slot. The Kratos-starring action game dropped from number one to number seven this week. Also new in the UK this week were the DS games Pokemon SoulSilver and Pokemon HeartGold, which captured the second and fourth slots, respectively. Below is the top 10 all-platform chart, which lumps together unit sales of all versions of a given title: UK All-Platforms Top 10 1. Just Cause 2 (Square Enix) 2. Pokemon SoulSilver (Nintendo) 3.
