In a bid to energize sluggish sales, Electronics Arts announced it will start selling a CD for its on-line game Majestic through retailers.
The number of active players for the on-line game has stalled near 13,500, well below the 40,000 that had registered before its launch in August. Electronic Arts opted to suspend play after the World Trade Center attacks out of concern for certain elements. The software version will be packaged and sold at retail outlets in coming weeks for between $30 and $50.
