Capcom's Monster Hunter Freedom 3 topped the Japanese charts with two million units sold in its first week, more than two times all other titles in the top 20 combined, reports tracking firm Media Create. Capcom earlier this week released a statement announcing this latest title set a new sales record for the popular monster slaying action RPG franchise. For the week ended December 5, Namco Bandai's Tales of Graces F debuted at number two, selling 215,187 units in its first week. This update to the previously Wii-exclusive title features new story sequences, visuals, items, and abilities. Nintendo's puzzle platformer Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem hit number four at 57,474 units sold. Hudson's Momotaro Railway: World debuted at number eight, followed by Namco Bandai's Kamen Rider: Climax Heroes Os, which rounded out the top 10 at numbers nine and 10 for PSP and Wii, respectively. Other new titles on the Japanese charts this week include Namco Bandai's Taiko Drum Master Wii 3 and Konami's A Penguin's Troubles: The World for Nintendo DS. Below are Media Create's top 10 sales chart for the week ended December 5, 2010.
