For the third week in a row since its debut, Take-two and Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption led video game sales in the UK, staying ahead of EA Canada's popular 2010 FIFA World Cup and Yuke's recently released UFC Undisputed 2010, Chart-Track revealed. According to the tracking firm's data for the week that ended June 5th, Red Dead Redemption's Xbox 360 SKU was also the top-selling game on the individual format chart, followed by its PlayStation 3 version. The Sims 3: Ambitions for PCs, the second expansion to Electronic Arts life simulation game which shipped to stores just a few days ago, entered the all-platforms tally at #6 and also took the #5 spot on the individual format list. And while Disney and Black Rock Studios' racing game Split/Second: Velocity beat out Activision and Bizarre Creations' Blur last week, managing to keep the latter out of the charts then, the reverse is true for this week. Blur is at #10 on the all-platforms list while Split/Second is nowhere to be found in the top ten. Sega and Obsidian Software's espionage-focused role-playing game Alpha Protocol, which released in the region for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC two weeks ago, once again failed to make a mark in the top ten all-platforms chart.
