Publisher Red Mile has announced that former producers of games including The Red Star, The Darkness, and The Chronicles of Riddick have been signed on board for its forthcoming game version of Frank Miller's Sin City. Red Mile says the design, scriptwriting and story generation of Sin City will be overseen by Flint Dille, who has previously won awards for stories he produced for The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and Dead to Rights. Also tapped for the game's production is Union Entertainment, which has formerly worked on cult shooter The Red Star and Starbreeze's The Darkness. Though few other details of the game have yet been released, Red Mile CEO Chester Aldridge told Gamasutra he believes the property is "perfect for a video game," and will "blow people away when they see what we have planned." Added Dille, "Frank [Miller] and I have been having a party coming up with nasty stuff for the game. In true Sin City fashion, some old characters will return, new characters will appear and -- without giving anything away -- probably die horribly. It's great to be working with the Red Mile team on this project: They clearly share Frank's and my commitment to bringing a new and true Sin City to interactive life."
