Sonic 4 Tops October's PlayStation Network Sales

Sega's Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 topped the list of best-selling downloadable games for the PS3 and PSP last month, with Deadliest Warrior and Lara Croft making strong debuts in second and third place.

Sega's 2D platforming revamp Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 topped the list of best-selling downloadable games for the PS3 and PSP last month, with Deadliest Warrior and Lara Croft making strong debuts in second and third place, respectively. A straight PS3 port of Dreamcast launch title Sonic Adventure showed up in fourth place for its first full month of availability on PSN, while Double Fine's Costume Quest debuted in ninth place after a mid-October release. Among slightly older releases, Castle Crashers fell from second place in September to a sixth place sales position last month, while the retro-inspired Scott Pilgrim vs. the World maintained its eighth place position in October. The complete list of top-selling of PSN games for October 2010, according to Sony, is as follows: 1. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode One 2. Deadliest Warrior: The Game 3. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light 4. Sonic Adventure 5. Echoes (PSP minis) 6. Castle Crashers 7. My Aquarium 8. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game 9. Costume Quest 10. Final Fantasy IX (PSone)
