Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
iEntertainment Network announced that it is seeking an outside publisher to handle the worldwide retail distribution of the company's online titles, including WarBirds, Dawn of Aces, and the TotalSim series
Currently these games are only available for via monthly subscription on the IENT web site, but the company is hoping that by lining up a retail publishing partner, it can bring in additional revenue without investing in retail advertising, marketing, and selling. These games will still be available online once retail distribution begins. "WarBirds at the retail shelf was very exciting and successful the first time the Company accomplished that distribution," said IENT CEO, JW Stealey. "This time we hope to make it even more successful using a much more powerful publishing and distribution company than IENT. Our distribution partner will be a company that can accomplish WorldWide sales and distribution. We will make our choice of publishers within the next 60 days."
