Nintendo's Wii Fit hardware bundle has finally returned to full availability in the UK sales charts this week, after initially selling out completely and then returning in relatively limited quantities in subsequent weeks. Sales rose by 60 percent this week, overtaking Nintendo’s own Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which saw its sales drop by 37 percent. With THQ’s Big Beach Sports at number three and Wii Play at number four, the first non-Wii title in the charts is the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield: Bad Company at number five. There are no new entries in the top ten this week, although Carnival Funfair Games does move up nine places to number eight, to become the sixth Wii title in the top ten, and the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament III rises two places to number ten in its second week. The highest new entry of the week is Ubisoft’s Sports Party for the Wii at number twenty-five, the first release from its new dedicated Wii label Play Zone. The only other new entry is the Nintendo DS version of Wall-E at number thirty-nine, which is likely to rise significantly in the charts next week, following the release of the movie. Overall in the top forty there are fourteen Wii titles, thirteen for the Nintendo DS, six for the Xbox 360, six for the PlayStation 3, one for the PSP and zero for the PlayStation 2 and PC.
