their first game, Metal Thunder Conflict in the Caribbean, which will be released for the PC at the end of the year. According to the companies, 3D Pipeline will supply the "high-end photo-realism, environment 'fx,' knowledge of military equipment and capabilities", while PurpleDrop will be handle game content, marketing, sales and distribution. Led by Greg Passmore, 3D Pipeline has been a mainstay in the game industry for contract graphics programming work, primarily in the area of and OpenGL drivers and 3D games. PurpleDrop is a recent start-up, focusing on graphics production, content management, and on-demand research and development.
