3DO Expects Lower Earnings for Second Quarter

3DO announced that it is revising its guidance for the second fiscal quarter.

3DO originally expected earnings of 18 cents on revenues of $14 million, however, now projects a loss for the quarter of 20 cents to 22 cents per share on revenues of $10 million to $11 million. The video game publisher blames the loss on delays in the worldwide shipping of two games, Dragon Rage for PS2 and Portal Runner for PS2 and Game Boy Color.
