Dominique Ferland has been working for some time as a game designer at Tribute Games, that Montreal-based indie outfit best known for games like Wizorb and Mercenary Kings.

He's also a veteran indie game maker and artist, and late yesterday evening he published a quartet of one-panel comics to Twitter that illustrate (with disarmingly cute characters) some of the weird idiosyncracies of life as a game developer.

They're insightful, funny and wound up being posted online at a time when many folks were probably asleep, so we thought it would be nice to take the liberty of highlighting them here.

Making and selling games can be strange business, and efforts to lampoon said business (see also: the work of Matthew "Wasteland" Burns) are welcome.

For more on Ferland's work, check out his website and this interesting interview he gave a Gamasutra blogger back in 2014.
