Google's Android team has revealed via a recent blog post a new dashboard that gives a better overview of the installation performance of apps and games for Android developers. The new additions to the Market Developer Console include summaries and charts of each app's active installation trend, along with how the app has been distributed over devices, countries and platform versions. The new dashboard also shows comparable data for all app installs across the whole of the Android Market, allowing developers to observe how their apps are performing against the rest of the Market. Data applied to these charts and tables starts from December 22, 2010, and will be updated daily. The Applications Statistics dashboard can be found via the main Listings page in the Market Developer Console. Android Developer Ecosystem's Eric Chu said, "We are continuing to work hard to deliver more reporting features to help you manage your products successfully on Android Market."
