Arkadium Inc., creator of an on-line play-for-money gaming service, has launched its Developer Zone program, designed to be an easy way for developers to submit games for evaluation for inclusion in the company’s Gamedek service. The service allows gamers registered with the service to play against other members for money. To avoid conflicts with gambling laws, only games that involve a significant degree of skill or competition, rather then relying on pure chance, are offered. According to Arkadium, “Games that are accepted are housed within the Gamedek, and any revenue generated through cash-play matches are shared with the developer.” Arkadium encouranges developers that have existing Flash, Shockwave, Java, or Active X games to visit the Arkadium Developer Zone
