Atari signed a multi-year third-party agreement with CDV Software Entertainment USA to exclusively distribute the publisher's console and handheld titles released under the CDV USA brand in North America. Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, an action RPG developed by Ascaron, will be the first CDV USA game that Atari will distribute. Sacred 2 will ship for PC on November 11, 2008 and will follow with Xbox 360 and PlayStation releases in February 17, 2009. Other titles announced for the distribution deal include SevenOne Intermedia's I Heart Geeks! and Raylight Studios's My Little Baby, both for the Nintendo DS. "Atari's extensive distribution network means consumers will have ready access to our exciting list of upcoming titles on console and handheld," says CDV Software Entertainment USA's CEO and president Tom Gross. He continues, "Atari offers us the support of a leading sales and distribution partner, while our top-notch line-up that mixes hardcore and casual titles will significantly strengthen Atari’s third-party distribution business."
