It's another week of quiet shifting on the Australian retail charts, as all the major holiday cards have been played and it's just a matter of seeing which ones stick with consumers. WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006 rises to #1 this week, and though that puts the PS2 version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted down at #2, the Xbox version rises two spots to #5 for a net win. The peripheral-based games are still hanging in as well: Buzz: The Music Game Quiz is at #3, EyeToy: Play 3 is at #6, and SingStar 80s Bundle is at #8. Only two new faces show up on the charts, one of which, AFL Premiership 2005, makes its return from earlier in the year. The other is the Australian release of PSP smash hit Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. If the success of the game in the U.S. is any indication, it's possible that the portable GTA could remain on the charts well after the holiday sales blitz is over.
