The dip in demand for peripheral-based games in last week's chart turns out to have been a momentary faltering on the Australian retail charts, as all three of the major titles in question saw an upswing in sales in the first full week of the new year. Buzz: The Music Game Quiz rebounded all the way up to #2, while EyeToy: Play 3 came back up to #5 and SingStar 80s Bundle returned from the brink of the charts back to #8. In non-peripheral-based games action, Need for Speed: Most Wanted is still riding atop the charts post-holidays, with the Xbox version lower down the charts. Also staying put in the same spots as last week is Ricky Ponting International Cricket 05 at #6. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 06 both fell a notch due to Buzz's ascendance. Again, one has to look to the bottom of the chart for any new entries. Two on-again, off-again titles have returned to the top 10: Crash Tag Team Racing is back at #9, and Ratchet: Gladiator, the fourth and potentially final Ratchet game on PS2, finishes out the list at #10.
